Wait just a moment here. I note in the Log file you posted the Track is still labelled Track 1 (Compiling VTS#1 (Track 1)...)which, if you drag files into the Track folder it would have the name of your video. However if you drag it to the file to the Track Timeline it remains Track 1. I hate not being able to see what it is you are doing.

Is it possible you have not actually moved video into a DVD track? In the top right corner of your DVD SP menu, how big is your DVD?

Are you creating your .m2v and .ac3 (or.aif) files in Compressor, or are you using DVD SP to do the compressing?

Yes this is a log file of a DVD that isn't working. I am confident in DVD SP as well as I have made numerous DVDs with it on other systems. I am currently working for a center in Bethlehem and it is their first time ever using the program which it is starting to make me wonder if it is a software issue.

As for the video in the track, I have put video in the actual track. I attempted to let the system do all the compressing but it won't allow me to import my quicktime files at all so I did the compressing in the compressor. Any thoughts about this? I originally thought this was the issue, but if I set the track to first play the video plays fine it is just when we try and build a menu track combo that we have issues.

And yes thanks for the advice about naming things. I know very important.

Thanks for your help.

working for a center in Bethlehem

Would that be Bethlehem, Pennsylvania or the slightly more famous Bethlehem in the West Bank? If the latter is your material PAL? In DVD SP if you select the Disc itself under the Outline tab and then click on the Region/Copyright tab in the Inspector window do you have all regions selected? Under the General tab is your DVD Standard set to SD DVD and Video Standard to PAL?

Yes, we are working with PAL and all regions are selected. I also just out of curiosity compressed everything to NTSC and built a NTSC dvd and experienced the same problem.

I have asked around and tried to replicate what might allow a DVD to work in Simulate, not show any errors on build, and still produce a Video_TS file that won't work and not come up with anything. No clever search criteria in Google is returning a valid response to the error code you are seeing. I am at a loss. Sorry, I do really wish I could help.
