Apple has noted a problem where new Mac Pros with greater than 8-cores may experience a problem when using applications from Final Cut Studio 2009: applications will not use more than 8 cores and may unexpectedly quit.

The solution is to manually download and install the Pro Applications Update 2010-02.

No worries, Frank. The word "Quad" means four, which means you have four processors. The concern is with new Mac Pros with greater than 8 processors.

Thank You. Just come back from a Mac Group meeting and they covered Logic and FCP7. One learns by listening and demonstration. They make it look so easy.
